Position Overview:
Edifice Global Markets Limited is seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Based Microsoft 365 Document Management System Consultant to lead the design, development, and deployment of our enterprise-grade cloud-based document management solution. This role is critical to ensuring our organization’s operational efficiency, data security, and compliance with AML-CFT regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure Active Directory, and compliance solutions. This is a short-term contract role with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a balance between remote work and occasional virtual sessions and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement a cloud-based Microsoft 365 Document Management System (CB-DMS) using SharePoint Online and related technologies.
- Develop and enforce cloud security baselines, role-based access controls, and “no-download” policies for sensitive documents.
- Integrate Microsoft Teams and ensure seamless collaboration across Front, Middle, and Back Office teams.
- Configure and manage compliance and governance policies in line with AML-CFT requirements for cloud environments.
- Conduct user training and provide post-implementation support.
- Manage project timelines, risk mitigation, and change control processes for cloud deployments.
- Provide documentation, handover materials, and knowledge transfer to the internal IT team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project success and user adoption.
- Report project progress, risks, and deliverables directly to the senior C-Suite management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (or equivalent certifications).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 cloud implementations, including SharePoint Online and Teams.
- Proven experience in cloud security and compliance configuration within Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with AML-CFT regulatory compliance and cloud document governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Purview DLP, and Information Rights Management (IRM).
- Experience in user training and change management for cloud technology rollouts.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent English-speaking and written communication skills (required for training and documentation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Project management or consulting experience (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus).
Work Arrangement
- Location: Hybrid Remote working
- Work Schedule: Full-time
- Contract Type: Short-term contract (6–8 weeks, with possible extension)
- Reporting Line: Directly to the Information Technology Director
- Travel Requirements: Minimal (as required for project milestones)
